We had our first storm of 2008 on Friday and, let me tell you, it was pretty intense. Winds got up to 60 mph and the rain was constant. A few trees fell at the church, no major damage. On Saturday, we drove around and saw some trees that were uprooted, large tree branches on the ground and in PG, we saw an area where the ocean, during high-tide, actually flooded the street. It was weird to see sand and seaweed on the road. It was scary and exciting at the same time. ~Cisco.

Hey friends! That is a pretty good storm you had! It must have been pretty exciting. I remember the storm we had last year and we had to hide in our closet. Then next day there were fences down, a gazebo on our neighbors roof, and a cow in the middle of the road! LOL. I thought of the movie Twister, when the cows were flying and wondered, How did that cow get there? Storms really are scary and exciting at the same time. Love you guys and glad you are ok.
Love, The Azevedo's
